GENERAL SALES MANAGER
Fantastic and unique opportunity for an experienced media sales professional to work with an independent broadcast company in the Palm Beach Florida market.
We need you energy, your passion for helping local businesses improve, and you relentless drive to make a good sales effort even better. Please note that while you'll enjoy attending events across the Palm Beach metro area this is not a retirement position.
This is a hands-on sales and management position, ideally suited for a broadcast sales prowho preferes to not be limited by corporate handcuffs. We need you if you can:
Fully embrace, represent, and convey the qualitative positioning of the Legends Radio brand in the marketplace to all stakeholders.
Meet and surpass company revenue goals.
Maximize average unit rate wihtin a limited hourly commercial load structre
Recruit, hire, train new and current sales team
Work in a customer focused fashion with advertisers and sales team to set realistic expectations, and then exceed them
Carry and service a limited House account list
Take the leadershi role on prospecting new accounts
Accompany sales team members on sales calls on a regular basis
Create spot and no spot sales and promotional packages and proposals
Leverage advertiser and station-produced concerts and events into non-spot revenue opportunities
The ideal candidate has several years experience managing a media sales department.
A genuine love for the music of Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, and the artists of the Great American Songbook strongly preferred.
Computer proficiency on a PC platform is required including, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
