Pembroke Pines, Fla. (March 8, 2017) – One of the nation’s fastest growing upscale casual dining restaurants has announced it will be creating nearly 200 new full- and part-time Broward County jobs as it gears up for the grand opening of its new Pembroke Pines location. The Pembroke Pines restaurant will be the second in Broward County (and the ninth Florida location) for the unique restaurant pairing concept.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants – an award-winning winery and Napa-style tasting room – will be opening its 9th Florida location at the Pines City Centre in Pembroke Pines in April. This newest Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant will need to fill 196 full and part-time jobs before the doors open. Positions range from servers to line cooks, bartenders to tasting room attendants; nearly every job needed to run an upscale winery and restaurant.
Due to the high number of positions, Cooper’s Hawk is holding two separate hiring fairs over the next six weeks. Each event will take place near its Pembroke Pines location (10310 Pines Blvd. Pembroke Pines) at the Pines City Center on the southwest corner of Pines Boulevard and NW 103rd Ave. The two hiring events will be on Monday, March 19 and Tuesday, March 20 and Monday, April 2 and Tuesday, April 3. Each event is from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applicants will have the opportunity to apply in person and meet the management team. The restaurant concept has received nearly 500 awards from various local, national and international wine competitions, multiple double gold and, most notably, received a 99-point score at the Critics Challenge International Wine Competition for its Cooper’s Hawk Lux Pinot Noir.
